What information is gathered?

VKitty only gathers and stores data that you willingly submit, like your username, interests, occupation, and location. Staff members will never ask for your password, so don't give it to anyone.

What data is stored on my computer?

Temporary data like your unique session ID is stored in a cookie in your web browser. You can clear this if you would like to, but its only use is to make sure you are logged in when you visit the VKitty website.

Other data like cat names and images is stored in a cache to speed up loading. They are compressed and will not make a large impact on your computer's hard drive usage.

Will VKitty send me spam?

You will never be contacted by email for reasons other than the following:

• Confirmation of your account's registration
• Notification of new private messages
• An optional newsletter

In addition, VKitty will never share your email address. We hate spam just as much as you do.
